Hamilton Beach 92101 Nonstick Contempo 10 Inch Skillet, Black

Not a quality product
After one time using this skillet on low heat, it turned dark brown. Handle wiggles. I find things stuck to it all the time.

Decent skillet for everyday use
Allow me to preface my review by saying that while I enjoy cooking, I am by no means a professional chef nor am I an avid cooking enthusiast. As such, my review score is based on the expectations of a "layman" who cooks for loved ones and friends. I am not comparing this skillet to premium cookware with a high price tag.

I mainly use this skillet for breakfast food such as eggs or ham and dinners consisting of chicken, pork, vegetables or seafood. My skillet appears to heat evenly as I have not detected any "hot spots". I've had consistent results with a variety of foods and so I am pleased with this skillet. A skillet is just a tool and so the tastiness of food is a result of the cook's skill. That said, I can report that I have had dishes ruined by flaws in other skillets but I have never had that problem with this one.

I bought this skillet for under $6 during one of Amazon's infamous price fluctuations and it is easy to say how great it is with such a cheap...

Nice for the price
Good size larger skillet for the price. Only problem I have found is the handle (even with the coating on it) gets a bit hot. I use this skillet daily and so far the nonstick coating has held up. No flaking or scratches. I use it on a gas stove over medium heat and it seems to heat up pretty evenly. I would buy this skillet again.

Fundix by Castey Nonstick Cast Aluminium Induction Sauté Pan with Tempered Glass Lid and Removable Black Handle, 12-Inch/4-3/4-Quart

Wrong item shipped over and over again
I thought this lightweight non-stick induction saute pan would be a great gift for my mom. She uses an induction cooker but is arthritic so can't manage the more common heavy stainless induction pans as easily. When I ordered, I receive an 8-inch saucepan rather than the 12-inch saute pan described here. Upon returning the wrong item and requesting a replacement through Amazon.com, I received the same 8-inch saucepan again! Over and over I order a 12-inch saute pan, and over and over I have to return an 8-inch saucepan. Does the 12-inch saute pan exist? I'm not insane enough to try this again expecting a different result.

Farberware Classic 71229 Cookware Set-8 inch Diameter Skillet-, 10 inch Diameter Skillet-by FARBERWARE ELECTRICS

Good skillets for a good price
I bought these products primarily to cook eggs. I got tired of teflon pans that lasted a month. I admit these skillets aren't as non-stick as brand new teflon. Still, using olive oil coats the pan sufficiently to keep the eggs from adhering to the bottom. I also like the heavy gauge stainless steel, which heats the pan evenly.

FRY PAN 10" CERAMIGUARD, EA, 12-0073

Best non-stick fry pan I've used
After several months of use, the pan still looks and performs like new.
We plan to replace all of our nonstick pans with Wear-Evers.

FoldTuk 19 Inch Roaster, Blue

keep the emergency room on speed dial
This product is good for making casseroles, gratins, mac and cheese, roasting veggies, etc. but I would never consider roasting meat, fowl, etc. or anything that might render off hot fat. The thing just collapses too easily when any pressure is put on the rim. If the pan is filled with dense food product its fine, but I can see taking a piping hot roast out of the oven. setting the foldtuk on the counter, applying too much pressure as I set it down, and having the thing collapse and hot fat spilling out all over me and the floor! Nice enough to keep and not send back, but beware if using it for the family bird/roast. The lid also doesn't quite fit on the bottom the way it is advertised, to seal in flavor, etc. Once again, take the lid off to baste the bird and then put the lid back on, apply too much pressure, the bottom collapses in on itself, and hot turkey fat....well, you can get the possible horrifying scenario. Imagine what the paramedics, fire department, and ER techs...

Adcraft FPSI-10EX Titan Series 10" S/S Non-Stick Fry Pan

Good quality with some drawbacks.
Works well with my induction cook top range. Heavy and good quality. One thing I would change is the handle. Heat transfers to the handle with higher temperatures and sometimes requires a glove or potholder. Also, because the handle is round, while washing with soapy hands, it can be hard to control. The handle probably should have been oblong or flat.

ExcelSteel 3-Piece Aluminum Non Stick Frypan Set with Heat Indicator Handles

Nice set.
The three pans arrived on time. They are substantial with out being too heavy. The non-stick works extremely well for cooking eggs, etc with out using any butter or oil. The pans are attractive and the three sizes are a nice choice for different cooking needs and amounts. I feel, at the price I paid they were a good buy.

Fundix by Castey Nonstick Cast Aluminium Induction Paella /Everything Pan, 9-1/2-Inch/1-1/4-Quart, Black

Not big enough for Paella
This "Paella Pan" is not big enough to even cook a paella for one, it is more like a serving dish for serving one. I can se myself co0king eggs in it, maybe even a chicken breast, but not a paella, not any rice dish since here in not enough space for it and the liquids. The meassurements are from the top edge not the bottom flat surface which is around 7 maybe even 6 inches.
Update 4/25/13, Ikeep it on top of the stove and been using it to make Spanish Omellets, it does works good for that, got to be very careful when flipping since the handles get very hot.
Other than that it really does great with the non-sticking.

Beka Cookware Chef 8" Conical Saucer Pan

Beautiful pan ... but ...
This is really a beautiful pan, and apparently well made. Be aware though, that despite Beka being a Belgian company, this pan is made in "PRC" (People's Republic of China, may or may not be important to you). My main beef with it is that the bottom is NOT FLAT. The bottom is a nice thick laminate of stainless/aluminum, but it's just not flat (checked against several reference surfaces, and it rocks on the burner). Otherwise, it's well balanced, and the nicely shaped riveted handle looks very robust. Unfortunately, the non-flat bottom is a deal-breaker for me on a 55 smacker pan, so it's going back ...

Art and Cuisine Professionnelle Series Stainless Steel Frypan with Satin Coating, 7.9-Inch

A pan with substance!
As of this writing, I found one customer review for this pan. I had never heard of Art and Cuisine and purchased this pan (along with the 11 inch pan) from another website with no information. I used it for the first time today and I love it! I'm more concerned with performance than appearance. This pan offers both. I've read descriptions on French web sites that state that the Professionnelle series is made of 18/10 stainless steel, but there is no stamp on the pan and American web site descriptions make no mention of it. The pans are not excessively heavy, but weigh enough to handle with substance. I grilled blackened salmon in olive oil and the fish moved around the pan like nonstick! Cleaning was a breeze. After I've used the cookware for awhile, I'll update this review to let you know how it's handling. So far, so good!

UPDATE 07/15/12: This pan is still performing well and looks good. Since I like it and my 11inch so much, I bought this pan in the 12 inch size, plus...

Really like Art and Cuisine...
I liked this fry pan OK. It has a depth to it and I always like stainless steal but I like the pans when they don't stick so much! I hated the GREEN PAN advertised AS SEEN ON TV because it only worked once or twice and then everything stuck to it!!! And this pan works better than that but I did order another Art and Cuisine frypan I liked even better! This pan was good and I will keep it.

Art & Cuisine Austral Pot with Lid, Plum-3.1Qt

Just about a great pot
I love using this little purple pot. What I don't like is cleaning it. We poach eggs in it, and have to scrub or scrape the cooked on egg off, even when we use spray oil in it first. It makes great popcorn, that is for sure.

Also, the engineering of the lid is not quite up to par. Instead of the lid resting in the rim of the pot, it covers the edge of the pot, causing the lid to drip onto the stove whenever the lid is on and water is simmering in the pan.

This nifty pot takes up much more space in the cupboard than need be because of the handles sticking out so far from the pot itself.

I bought the pot because of the ceramic coating, which doesn't seem to work, but at least we are not getting teflon and other baddies in our food.

All-Clad Master Chef 2 Roti Combo with Roti Pan, Roasting Rack, and 2 Turkey Forks

Primo Turkey Cooker
This pan is a great size for a 20lb bird. Solid MC2 construction and it's made in the USA. Item description does not state it but the interior of the pan is nonstick and not stainless. Good if you are a nonstick fan or not so good if you have reservations about using nonstick.

Just In Case
Tried to post correction to item description under my "wearetheborg" login but it has not posted for several days so....Please be advised that upon further review (looking on the side of the box), this pan is made in China and not the US.

Camerons Products 24-Quart Stock Pot

Damaged goods...
I first received this stock pot in Oct. I noticed it had a dent towards the bottom. I packed it up and shipped it back. Low and behold, I received another one in return. Upon close inspection, I realized it was the same pot, only someone had hammered out the dent. I asked for a replacement, not a repair. Amazon has gone to the dogs!

Cambro 14CW 13.7 qt Capacity, 20-7/8" Length x 12-3/4" Width x 4" Depth, Camwear Clear Polycarbonate Full Size Food Pan

I Love my Cambro
Cambro food pans may be a bit pricey at the outset, but they are very durable and of high quality. You won't have to buy replacements for a long time as long as you keep them clean and don't abuse them. I use these for home purposes because I like quality, not the cheap junk they sell for 'consumers.'

Surprisingly well made and attractive
The pan is exactly what I was looking for as a sharpening stone bath and it holds a stone bridge really well. Great product and good value.

Calphalon Contemporary Nonstick 3-Quart Sauteuse with Glass Lid

great piece...
This piece is visually attractive and very useful. It's a 3 qt pot that is just right for most of my cooking needs. And unlike other 3 qt pot, this has two sturdy handles instead of one long handle which can sometimes be bothersome when I have several dishes cooking at once. I've cooked soup in this and simple chicken and cream of mushroom recipe. I like that I can first stir-fry my meat/poultry in this and then just pour in my sauce to simmer--all in the same pot.

The non-stick...is well...truly non-stick--I'm still amazed at how easy it is to clean calphalon non-stick pans/pots. It's not dishwasher-safe; however, it's very easy to clean--I mean I just literally rinse the pan in water, use my dobie pad with dishwashing soap and give it a quick scrubbing and then rinse clean...it's amazing and so easy! I love the anodized outside and non-stick inside-and as I mentioned, it's very pleasing to look at :). The dimension is roughly 9 3/4" diameter (inside-to-inside -...

a good buy
i bought this pan a month ago and i am very pleased with it. it is deep pan and one can cook a meal for 6 to 7 people with ease. cleaning is also very easy and it uses less oil.

the only thing to watch out for is that the handles tend to get very hot other wise it is a great multi purpose pot.

i would recommend it to anyone interested in buying it

Great pot !
This pan is wonderful. Altho I got it on Amazon cheaper..still worth the money. I have used it a lot and it still looks and cleans like new. I also like the curve of the design and keep it out because it is attractive. I just ordered another Calphalon pan...I like them because you can brown so well in them and still have easy clean-up.
