Grillmark Round Wok with Holes for Grilling, 12"

Wish it was larger
I really wish that it was much larger, and that the holes were a little smaller. The food came out tasting great, but we lost some in the process. Also disappointed that it isn't recommended for the dishwasher. I'm washing it in there anyway. We'll see how long it lasts.

The foodloop, pink

Great product, Highly recommend!
Do you need these, no not really. Are they fun to have, absolutely!

If you are a kitchen gadget person, like me, you will enjoy these. They are much easier to use than standard kitchen twine because you aren't trying to tie and cut, they can almost be fastened with one hand. They are extremely easy to open and close. Additionally, they do not stick to the food because they are silicone. Have you ever closed a stuffed pork chop with a toothpick and then couldn't find it to remove it? That doesn't happen with the foodloop. My set is a bright neon fuchsia; I could almost find them in the dark to remove them.

Surprisingly, they are easy to clean. They come in a little mesh bag that can be used to contain them in the dishwasher. Being silicone, nothing sticks to them so that they also hand wash with ease.

I have used them to make braciole (Italian stuffed roast). They are also great for whole fish (to keep the lemon and herbs inside when baking)...

They break
I have used these few times. They come undone and they break easily. I have 2 out of 6 left due to breakage. You can use them for rolled items like roasts, but not for birds; nothing that needs a tight tie can be trussed with these.

However, they withstand the heat and are easy to clean.

The jury is still out ...
I tried this on my Thanksgiving turkey and they didn't work. The loop came undone during cooking. It was also a bit difficult to deal with using greasy hands. Maybe it will do better on stuff that roasts flat in a pan.

Hamilton Beach 92101 Nonstick Contempo 10 Inch Skillet, Black

Not a quality product
After one time using this skillet on low heat, it turned dark brown. Handle wiggles. I find things stuck to it all the time.

Decent skillet for everyday use
Allow me to preface my review by saying that while I enjoy cooking, I am by no means a professional chef nor am I an avid cooking enthusiast. As such, my review score is based on the expectations of a "layman" who cooks for loved ones and friends. I am not comparing this skillet to premium cookware with a high price tag.

I mainly use this skillet for breakfast food such as eggs or ham and dinners consisting of chicken, pork, vegetables or seafood. My skillet appears to heat evenly as I have not detected any "hot spots". I've had consistent results with a variety of foods and so I am pleased with this skillet. A skillet is just a tool and so the tastiness of food is a result of the cook's skill. That said, I can report that I have had dishes ruined by flaws in other skillets but I have never had that problem with this one.

I bought this skillet for under $6 during one of Amazon's infamous price fluctuations and it is easy to say how great it is with such a cheap...

Nice for the price
Good size larger skillet for the price. Only problem I have found is the handle (even with the coating on it) gets a bit hot. I use this skillet daily and so far the nonstick coating has held up. No flaking or scratches. I use it on a gas stove over medium heat and it seems to heat up pretty evenly. I would buy this skillet again.

Fundix by Castey Nonstick Cast Aluminium Induction Sauté Pan with Tempered Glass Lid and Removable Black Handle, 12-Inch/4-3/4-Quart

Wrong item shipped over and over again
I thought this lightweight non-stick induction saute pan would be a great gift for my mom. She uses an induction cooker but is arthritic so can't manage the more common heavy stainless induction pans as easily. When I ordered, I receive an 8-inch saucepan rather than the 12-inch saute pan described here. Upon returning the wrong item and requesting a replacement through Amazon.com, I received the same 8-inch saucepan again! Over and over I order a 12-inch saute pan, and over and over I have to return an 8-inch saucepan. Does the 12-inch saute pan exist? I'm not insane enough to try this again expecting a different result.

Fitx-All Self-Buttering Popcorn Lid

Every kernel gets flavored evenly
My family eats a lot of stove-top popcorn, and applying melted butter has been a messy multi-step process. This lid fits all the pans we used for popcorn, medium and large. Since the lid does not fit tightly, popping takes longer but everything is buttered and ready to eat as soon as it is done. I turn the buttering cup backward and screw everything back together to wash in the dishwasher.

Farberware Classic 71229 Cookware Set-8 inch Diameter Skillet-, 10 inch Diameter Skillet-by FARBERWARE ELECTRICS

Good skillets for a good price
I bought these products primarily to cook eggs. I got tired of teflon pans that lasted a month. I admit these skillets aren't as non-stick as brand new teflon. Still, using olive oil coats the pan sufficiently to keep the eggs from adhering to the bottom. I also like the heavy gauge stainless steel, which heats the pan evenly.

FoldTuk 19 Inch Roaster, Blue

keep the emergency room on speed dial
This product is good for making casseroles, gratins, mac and cheese, roasting veggies, etc. but I would never consider roasting meat, fowl, etc. or anything that might render off hot fat. The thing just collapses too easily when any pressure is put on the rim. If the pan is filled with dense food product its fine, but I can see taking a piping hot roast out of the oven. setting the foldtuk on the counter, applying too much pressure as I set it down, and having the thing collapse and hot fat spilling out all over me and the floor! Nice enough to keep and not send back, but beware if using it for the family bird/roast. The lid also doesn't quite fit on the bottom the way it is advertised, to seal in flavor, etc. Once again, take the lid off to baste the bird and then put the lid back on, apply too much pressure, the bottom collapses in on itself, and hot turkey fat....well, you can get the possible horrifying scenario. Imagine what the paramedics, fire department, and ER techs...

Adcraft FPSI-10EX Titan Series 10" S/S Non-Stick Fry Pan

Good quality with some drawbacks.
Works well with my induction cook top range. Heavy and good quality. One thing I would change is the handle. Heat transfers to the handle with higher temperatures and sometimes requires a glove or potholder. Also, because the handle is round, while washing with soapy hands, it can be hard to control. The handle probably should have been oblong or flat.

I can't change the blade.
I was given this slicer as a gift. It came with no instructions and I can't find any online manual for it. I used it as is yesterday and tried to slice an onion for hamburgers. The slicer created very thin slices. Nice, but too thin for my taste for hamburgers. I turned the unit over to try to change the blade but could not remove the straight blade. It was in there tight and to use a lot of force would probably have resulted in me cutting myself on the blade. Perhaps someone else could do better. I gave it 2 stars because if you need thin onion slices it works great.

Everyday Kitchen 15-pc. Stainless Steel Cookware Set

Rusted in a couple of weeks
I bought this set from Kohl's on Black Friday for about $35 and it rusted only in a couple of weeks. It says stainless steels but the lids and the parts of the saucepans where the lid touches is all rusted. The plastic handles of the lids are really cheap too, I dropped one of the lids on the countertop and the holder shattered into pieces. And also food sticks on them a lot. The only good thing about the set is the glass storage containers.

Great value
I managed to find this set used at a local thrift store. They were not left in super clean condition. They clean up super with a SOS pad and look like new. I am very happy with them. I think they are worth the money. I have seen a good deal of cheap stainless steel cookware that has no weight to them, but these do. While they are not "top of the line", I think they are a good high end medium quality set. Mine has stood the test of time, since I bought them used and with a little cleaning they look new. As with any stainless steel cookware, they are not non-stick, but that is true with ALL stainless steel cookware. I wanted stainless steel, due to the reports of non-stick pans being a health risk. These will last me, probably forever, since I handwash all my pots (only way to truly get pans clean and dishwasher detergent is not good for the handle parts). Since the lids are glass with black knobs, if you should need any replacement lids, they could be found easily at thrift...

Fundix by Castey Nonstick Cast Aluminium Induction Paella /Everything Pan, 9-1/2-Inch/1-1/4-Quart, Black

Not big enough for Paella
This "Paella Pan" is not big enough to even cook a paella for one, it is more like a serving dish for serving one. I can se myself co0king eggs in it, maybe even a chicken breast, but not a paella, not any rice dish since here in not enough space for it and the liquids. The meassurements are from the top edge not the bottom flat surface which is around 7 maybe even 6 inches.
Update 4/25/13, Ikeep it on top of the stove and been using it to make Spanish Omellets, it does works good for that, got to be very careful when flipping since the handles get very hot.
Other than that it really does great with the non-sticking.

Esprit de Cuisine by Appolia 1 Quart Rectangular Terrine With Lid, Lime

I ordered two of these- very happy
These are great little casseroles. The only problem, imo, is the very small profile handle, which is VERY hard to remove with silicone gloves. I find I can take the terrine out of the oven with my silicone (orka) gloves, but to get the lid off I have to switch to some other protective hand wear, or use a wadded up paper towel. That's a little inconvenient, but the pieces are so pretty, and so functional, I can forgive that. They are perfectly safe in the dishwasher, and the glaze is very thick and nice. I have several pieces of Appolia wear, and I'm happy with all of them.

Beka Cookware Chef 8" Conical Saucer Pan

Beautiful pan ... but ...
This is really a beautiful pan, and apparently well made. Be aware though, that despite Beka being a Belgian company, this pan is made in "PRC" (People's Republic of China, may or may not be important to you). My main beef with it is that the bottom is NOT FLAT. The bottom is a nice thick laminate of stainless/aluminum, but it's just not flat (checked against several reference surfaces, and it rocks on the burner). Otherwise, it's well balanced, and the nicely shaped riveted handle looks very robust. Unfortunately, the non-flat bottom is a deal-breaker for me on a 55 smacker pan, so it's going back ...

Amico 2 Pcs Cookware Stainless Steel Wire Steaming Rack 4cm Height

Super flimsy but functional and inexpensive
I had a hard time finding this time of rack, where you can rest a plate or bowl on top, in standard retail stores so was happy to find it here.

Overall, these racks are a good deal and work well for their purposes -- they fit in small pots if needed, and provide enough stability to rest a bowl or plate on top.

But they are incredibly flimsy -- can easily be manually bent -- so not sure how long they'll last.

Still, good for the price, which was dirt cheap at the time I purchased.

All-Clad Stainless French Oven

Why is this All-Clad "French Oven"?
Because I am an All-Clad fan, and I own and use more All-Clad pieces than I really can afford, I feel like a traitor as I begin to write this. I wish I could return-for-refund my copy of this very pricey All-Clad "French Oven" (not purchased from amazon.com). For my needs, my two Le Creuset oval ovens and one Le Creuset round "buffet casserole" do the (French / Dutch) "oven" thing better, cheaper, and more beautifully. Cast iron, although not as physically tough as stainless steel, really does hold the heat much better, plus it works with induction, just in case you have induction (I do not) and you need to use the "oven" on the stove-top; this All-Clad oven bottom is non-magnetic. Le Creuset uses cast iron for the cover as well as for the bottom, unlike this All-Clad piece, which has the plain stainless steel (non-clad) cover, which I think compromises the "oven" concept of all-encompassing uniform heat. My All-Clad oven's wire...

Versatile
Not only is this an excellent roaster, it also works great as a turbotiere--perfect for poached flounder, and, by turning the rack upside-down and adding some water to the pan, as a very effective smokeless broiler.

Not Cheap
Not cheap, but it's a high quality product. Solid, rugged, and very good at providing even heat distribution. I'm very happy with it's performance over uses ranging from roasts to lasagna.

Art and Cuisine Professionnelle Series Stainless Steel Frypan with Satin Coating, 7.9-Inch

A pan with substance!
As of this writing, I found one customer review for this pan. I had never heard of Art and Cuisine and purchased this pan (along with the 11 inch pan) from another website with no information. I used it for the first time today and I love it! I'm more concerned with performance than appearance. This pan offers both. I've read descriptions on French web sites that state that the Professionnelle series is made of 18/10 stainless steel, but there is no stamp on the pan and American web site descriptions make no mention of it. The pans are not excessively heavy, but weigh enough to handle with substance. I grilled blackened salmon in olive oil and the fish moved around the pan like nonstick! Cleaning was a breeze. After I've used the cookware for awhile, I'll update this review to let you know how it's handling. So far, so good!

UPDATE 07/15/12: This pan is still performing well and looks good. Since I like it and my 11inch so much, I bought this pan in the 12 inch size, plus...

Really like Art and Cuisine...
I liked this fry pan OK. It has a depth to it and I always like stainless steal but I like the pans when they don't stick so much! I hated the GREEN PAN advertised AS SEEN ON TV because it only worked once or twice and then everything stuck to it!!! And this pan works better than that but I did order another Art and Cuisine frypan I liked even better! This pan was good and I will keep it.

Art & Cuisine Austral Pot with Lid, Plum-3.1Qt

Just about a great pot
I love using this little purple pot. What I don't like is cleaning it. We poach eggs in it, and have to scrub or scrape the cooked on egg off, even when we use spray oil in it first. It makes great popcorn, that is for sure.

Also, the engineering of the lid is not quite up to par. Instead of the lid resting in the rim of the pot, it covers the edge of the pot, causing the lid to drip onto the stove whenever the lid is on and water is simmering in the pan.

This nifty pot takes up much more space in the cupboard than need be because of the handles sticking out so far from the pot itself.

I bought the pot because of the ceramic coating, which doesn't seem to work, but at least we are not getting teflon and other baddies in our food.

FAIL
My wife, after initially being very excited to receive it, proceeded to make a Christmas lasagna (the intended use)...then informed me that she was going to use it for nothing but garlic bread since it's not the right shape for lasagna. Lasagna noodles are not long enough to fill the dish, so there's empty space at both ends...and lasagna noodles are straight like bacon, but the dish is oval shaped. FAIL. We now own a $50 garlic bread pan.
