Outstanding cookware
I received these two pans, and was VERY impressed right from the first glance.
These are extremely sturdy. They're constructed of thick high-grade metal (aluminum), not the thin and flimsy stuff you usually see in consumer cookware. When they claim these items are "commercial grade", they mean it.
The handles are riveted to the body, not attached with screws which ultimately work loose, in my experience. The handles have a very nice and comfortable ergonomic grip made of some type of rubberized material.
The non-stick coating is very impressive. It looks nice and feels substantial, but more importantly I did some on-line research on this "Eterna" coating, and apparently it's an extremely high-performing material, both as to its non-stick performance as well as long-term durability.
The proof of that will only be revealed by time and use, of course, but the testing data is very impressive. You can look it up on-line for yourself...
good quality non-stick pans
These sturdy non-stick pans feature a rubber-gripped handle and an excellent quality finish. They heated evenly and the non-stick surface performed well. Although no lids were provided, a standard-size lid fit acceptably for covered cooking. The user should be aware that their sturdy build makes them somewhat heavier than other pans their size. Note: the evaluation of this product was limited to a thirty-day review period; long-term use could not be evaluated.
Nothing sticks to these pans
Have you ever poured scrambled eggs out of a pan once they are fully cooked? I never would have guessed it was possible until I used these pans. They are almost unbelievably nonstick.
At 10 inches, they are a good size for many of the things I cook. I still add some olive oil to the pan when cooking meats, but that's mainly for flavor since nothing I've cooked has stuck to these pans yet. The handle is comfortable to hold. It says they are dishwasher safe, but I haven't tried it. I'm in the habit of always hand washing my nonstick pans and I do the same with these. They come clean very easily.
My only minor concern is that the finish could get damaged or scratched if these pans are stacked one on top of the other. The bolts that attach the handle are rough on the outside and I fear that if stacked for storage, the one on top would scratch off the finish of the one on bottom. It hasn't happened to me, but I'm careful to keep them separate.
Overall,...
